I first discovered Montana in1981 when (on a whim) I left the bright lights of Las Vegas and enrolled at Carroll College here in Helena. After receiving an accounting and business degree, I decided to put the office lifestyle on hold and pursue my dream of becoming a fighter pilot. Joining the Marine Corps after graduation from Carroll, I was fortunate enough to eventually achieve that dream and I spent the next 20 years flying the F/A-18 Hornet. I retired from the Marine Corps in 2004 and wisely chose Helena as the place where I wanted to settle down and begin the next chapter of my life.
